FindToWatch is a decision engine, not a search engine. Most "what to watch" sites answer the question where can I stream this. That is a solved problem and JustWatch solves it better than we could. The question that actually wastes your evening is what should I put on, and that is the one this site is built around.

How the recommendations are made

Every title in our library is watched and tagged by hand — by mood, by runtime, and by who you are watching with. There is no algorithm, no engagement model and no licensing deal. When a title appears on more than one list, it carries a different note on each, because the reason Bluey earns a place on a cozy-TV list is not the reason it earns one on a family list.

The library is deliberately small. A list of 200 titles is a search result; a list of 12 is a recommendation.

What we never claim

We do not tell you where anything is streaming. Availability changes constantly and by country, and a site that hardcodes it is wrong within weeks. Every "where to stream" link runs a live JustWatch search instead, which is always current and costs you nothing.

We are independent and not affiliated with any streaming service. We are not paid to feature any title, and no placement on this site has been bought.

About the trending section

The weekly trending block is ranked by English Wikipedia pageviews — an interest signal, showing what people are looking up, not what is popular on any particular service and not an endorsement. Titles are filtered against Wikidata so that only films and TV series appear. It refreshes every Monday.

The ROI calculator

Cost per hour is a blunt instrument and deliberately so. It will not capture that you keep one subscription for a single show a year that you genuinely love. It is meant to surface the subscription you forgot you had — and on most people's first run, there is one.
